Alice

In the serene village of Hong-eun-dong, young Alice’s journey began when her father’s presence gradually faded from their lives, leaving a promise unfulfilled. Little did she know, this quiet village would become the starting point for a remarkable adventure.

As her world crumbled in the wake of her parents’ divorce and her father’s new life, Alice initially clung to the familiar, resisting the call to change that echoed in the distance.

But amid the chaos, her mother, pregnant with her brother Tim, became a guiding light in this turbulent time. Their unwavering determination to start anew in a small one-bedroom flat became a symbol of courage, a leap into the unknown.

Finding refuge in her grandmother’s house brought love and stability, marking their transition from the known to the unknown, as they forged ahead in their journey.

Facing the reality of their new life, Alice started walking to school alone at just five years old while her mother worked tirelessly. It was a test of resilience, a small step on the path ahead.

Yet, Alice’s world took a malevolent turn when her mother’s abusive boyfriend entered their lives. This sinister presence cast a shadow over her dreams, igniting nightmares that would change her forever.

Haunted by these visions, Alice made a solemn vow to protect her family, promising herself she would be strong, no matter what trials lay ahead.

With her mother’s courageous decision, the abusive relationship met its end, and they sought refuge at her grandmother’s house. It marked a rebirth of hope and safety, a fresh start.

Hope resurfaced when Alice’s mother met Brian, ushering a stepfather into her life. Alice, now ten, welcomed this new ally, though their journey would prove challenging.

Their transition to the UK introduced new trials—bullying at school, language barriers, and her stepfather’s struggle with alcohol. Resilience was their shared strength, tested like never before.

Through her teenage years, Alice’s inner transformation began, fueled by conflicts with her stepfather. She embraced change, learning to adapt to life’s challenges.

University brought a life-altering accident that shook Alice to her core, Alice suffered a back injury and was told she may never walk again, this diagnosis forced her to question her path to happiness. It was the catalyst for her inner transformation.

When Doug entered her life, their meeting became a turning point.

Alice’s relentless work ethic and unstoppable determination were fueled by her desire for a brighter future, a shared vision.

Though the honeymoon didn’t last depression and addiction loomed, Alice faced these challenges head-on.

Alice work ethic gave the keys to finacialy freedom as she excel at her corporate life.

Tough she felt unsatisfied and soon found herself being drawn into the world of self-development.

She worked with her brother Tim helping him to build a successful company in that space, before branching out and working with her husband to expand her mission.

Alice’s remarkable journey, filled with pain and unwavering determination, serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration.

Doug

Doug was born in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, to two loving parents. He developed a healthy attachment bond and enjoyed a mostly happy childhood, which even included a couple of years of school in New Zealand his early years were filled with innocence and exploration.

However, as he entered his early twenties, he became entangled with drugs, violence and the wrong crowd. Many of his friends succumbed to addiction, found themselves in prison, or tragically lost their lives due to drug overdoses and suicide.

Amidst this chaotic period, Doug’s life took a fateful turn when he met Alice. Together, they moved in with her stepfather, a deeply narcissistic individual. This experience became Doug’s first known encounter with the underlying effects of narcissistic abuse, leading to a cascade of depression, social anxiety, and severely low self-worth. Doug was struggling to get his career going and this combined experience marked the beginning of a dark period in Doug’s life.

In an attempt to cope, Doug turned to self-medication with drugs and alcohol, which only hid the abyss of despair that was lurking.

It wasn’t until the tragic loss of a close friend to suicide that Doug felt compelled to regain control of his life and to one day help others who were suffering.

Determined to honour his friend’s legacy, Doug embarked on a relentless quest for self-improvement.

He revisited his early passion for psychology, investing significant resources in personal development programs, seeking out mentors, and seizing every opportunity for growth.

Doug’s unwavering commitment eventually bore fruit. He confronted his anxiety and depression head-on, emerging as a prolific public speaker. He even conquered the fear of performing a stand-up comedy in a London Pub, a remarkable milestone in his journey.

As Doug shed the weight of past traumas and toxic limiting beliefs, he rediscovered the true purpose of life and sold the company that he built to pursue helping others full-time.

Alice, a highly successful high-performance life coach, had a thriving career, but her addiction to work was causing a strain on their relationship. Despite their love, their connection began to fade under the weight of Alice’s relentless dedication to her career.

As Alice’s work addiction deepened, their once-healthy relationship suffered. The warmth and closeness they had once shared turned distant and cold. Their days were marked by growing distance and heartache.

United by their shared commitment to their relationship and their desire to help others, Alice and Doug realized that they needed a change. They couldn’t ignore the growing rift in their love life any longer. They began to really explore how the past traumas, narcissistic family patterns, violence and bullying had led to a relationship on the brink of collapse.

This realization led to the birth of Life Design Blueprint—a vision they co-founded to help themselves and then to help others also achieving success in work but struggling in love.

Their journey from darkness to light mirrored their personal growth and resilience.

They personally navigated the challenges of past traumas, addiction, work-life balance, and the strain on their relationship.

Their story exemplifies the transformative power of healing and the resilience of the human spirit.
